Principal Reports:
Web Manager, Online Marketing Manager
Main Accountabilities:
- To develop a detailed strategic plan that aligns with the corporate objectives/strategy
- To ensure that the website is fully aligned to the vision and brand
- To lead the web team to deliver on KPIs and deliver the best website in the sector
- To ensure the website is an effective driver of customers into stores
- To seek new business and technology opportunities to enhance the customer experience
- Through team management, apply web best Practices in navigation, content management, online user experience, PPC, Affiliate marketing, emails, display advertising and search engine optimisation.
- To shape the social media strategy
- Collaborate with other marketing functions to develop and deliver integrated marketing campaigns across all channels
- Drive revenue and increase online market share
- Budget management and responsibility.
Any other tasks, duties and accountabilities appropriate to the job & position.

Principal Skills & Attributes Required:
- Significant online Marketing experience – PPC, SEO, Affiliates, E-mail, Display Advertising
- Multi-platform experience and knowledge of best-in-class technologies
- Technical experience of CSS/HTML/Java script
- Proven record of developing transactional websites (ideally in retail)
- Problem Solver
- Analytical with knowledge of analytics packages

JOB PURPOSE
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic online expert to join at an exciting time in its ambitious growth plan.
The objective of this role is to lead the trading, SEO content and feature development. This will include understanding customer and web research, working with senior business stakeholders to agree strategy, leading the design of new features and websites, liaising closely with IT and marketing/web agencies, and leading projects. In addition you will lead and motivate a team and manage and develop key relationships with outsource suppliers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
In this role you will be responsible for:
Understanding, Strategy and Planning
- Initiating and reviewing detailed customer research, web traffic statistics, market intelligence, competitors etc. to understand customer behaviour, issues and opportunities on the site
- Identifying opportunities to improve conversion/spend/loyalty/usability around the site and plans appropriate solutions
Trading
- Accountability for all trading and operational updates
- Ensuring detailed trading plans are agreed each month in advance with key stakeholders to ensure we meet trading targets- Reviewing trading performance and drives continuous improvement
SEO + Team Management
- Managing and improving SEO performance
- Managing the site trading and content team [currently consisting of Comms Manager, SEO Manager, Analyst, Site Administrator]

Project Manager
The Project Manager will report directly to the Head of Projects and will work closely with one or two Project Managers to manage a small roster of clients for Brilliant UK. The main responsibility of the role is to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget and stakeholder expectations fully managed.
Our clients are mainly fashion, lifestyle brands and luxury goods brands, and we couldn’t ask for better clients or better projects.
The Project Manager will be the primary point of contact for their clients during the delivery phase of our client projects.
The role has two distinct areas of responsibility which could be divided as:
Client
• Understanding the marketing, brand, technology and strategic goals of our
Clients businesses
• Producing plans for executing projects
• Providing advice to our clients according to their needs throughout the
project lifecycle
• Producing comprehensive status reports and maintaining client extranet
• Obtaining sign off internally and from clients on completion of deliverables
• Closely managing the change control process to minimize scope creep whilst
ensure the clients’ expectations are exceeded
Internal
• Ensuring all work adheres to the company policies, safety rules, statutory
regulations and standards
• Become an ambassador for your clients businesses / projects within
• Timely and accurate invoice management in conjunction with Finance
• Ownership of revenue targets through delivering ON TIME and ON BUDGET
• Ensuring internal and external resources are working to plan, to spec and
within budget
• Input into the strategic direction of our clients online business
